Web design
Sustainable Interaction is all about transforming knowledge about psychology and pedagogy into innovative products for change and progress – constantly exploring, developing and enhancing the intersection between psychology and technology.
Sustainable Interaction has quite a few business areas, very different from each other, namely: Responsible Gambling, Conflict Management and HealthTech. Due to its target audience some of these business areas is best communicated in English, others in Swedish.
How does one communicate all this on one website?
In order to find a solution to this challenge one have to understand what type of users/viewers that should be addressed. That’s why I decided to create several, dedicated, websites instead of one.
Each website would have a domain that is related to the business area. Responsible Gambling would go on and be named Sustainable Gambling: sustainablegambling.services (with English as its primary language), Conflict Management (with Swedish at its primary language): konflikthantering.online and the business area concerning HealthTech: Sustainable Care; sustainablecare.services.
In this way related blogs/news could be dedicated to its main area and category, namely the business areas in itself. Also the the website could concentrate and focus on what mattered the most to the target audience, without being several clicks away.
I decided to use the platform: Squarespace. I like the way it presents all the websites in one place, the fact that is very user-friendly, which made it easy to instruct the contributors and editors to create their own content and keeping the blog/news section alive. Also once the Design Language System was established it was easy to create websites with the same visual representation and branding.
For some of the websites I’ve created, I decided to do a information video, explaining more in detail what the business area was about. Due to time and resources I only were able to deliver one, but the ambition is clear, there will be more to come…
The video I made can be seen below, it’s in Swedish and is about Conflict Management.
